Ariel Winnick is a Research Associate at the UC Berkeley School of Optometry and a medical student at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in BeerSheva, Israel. He received his BA and MA in Classics from St. John’s College in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He studies the vestibular system, how the eyes move, and how perception changes in neurological disorders. His favorite type of nystagmus is Bekhterev’s.
